Building their forever dream home, the clients approached us to assist them with the overall concept and design, space planning and furniture and decor sourcing. Studio Renee worked closely with the clients to understand their preferences and choices and opted for a transitional yet timeless theme.
The dining area features statement lighting and artwork, a unique Serigraphy piece, coupled with a sleek and modern buffet. Come to the living room, and you’d notice the colour palette is inspired by nature, featuring a unique coffee table and timber wall paneling. The relaxing accent chairs inspire you to sit back and indulge in engaging conversations.
Project Vista
Contemporary Luxe: that’s the first thing you’d notice here. Modern sophistication coupled with timeless elegance of a French Provincial mansion. This project seamlessly marries the opulent charm of the past with contemporary elements, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.
Studio Renee designed the grand foyer, adorned with sleek floors and minimalist furnishings, offering a striking juxtaposition to the mansion's ornate architectural details. Wander through the expansive living spaces, and you'll discover bespoke furniture pieces crafted from rich woods and sumptuous fabrics, each carefully selected to complement the mansion's grandeur while adding a touch of contemporary flair.
A state-of-the-art kitchen, featuring a statement waterfall bench made of Calacatta Marble with minimalist cabinetry effortlessly coexist with the mansion's traditional French design. Adjacent, Studio Renee designed a spacious dining area with modern lighting fixtures and clean lines, providing the perfect backdrop for lavish dinner parties and intimate gatherings alike.
Project Crana
Good childhood memories evoke strong emotions and provide comfort, more so when you’re living miles away from your homeland. Our lovely clients, hailing from the southern state of Kerala in India, envisioned their space to be warm and cosy and were seeking elements to reminisce the times spent in their ancestral homes.
Nestled in an idyllic lush green suburb of Greensborough, this 40-year-old house brimming with character and charm, offered a unique canvas for our creative vision. Drawing inspiration from the picturesque views of the Plenty Gorge Parklands that grace every window, Studio Renee curated a palette of earthy tones and organic textures to evoke a sense of tranquility and connection with nature. The theme for this project was to bring the outdoors in, and embracing the natural beauty of the surroundings and integrating it into every aspect of the design.
Using nature as our inspiration, we incorporated earthy tones and natural textures to blend with the outdoors, be it the walnut coloured flooring and cabinetry, forest-themed wallpaper, deep green splash back tiles in the laundry and brass fixtures. On the furniture side of things, timber and rattan were used aplenty, accentuated with ambient and accent lighting, to align with the overall theme of the home.
